Fathead Films began with the dreams of two cousins whose imaginations had always been captured by the magic of movies. Keith and Justin Romine began writing and producing films as teenagers and this love has culminated into a collaboration of talent, creativity, and passion that has become Fathead Films. Both Keith and Justin hold Bachelor of Arts degrees in Film from The University of Nevada, Las Vegas where they studied under some of the great names in film and television including, Academy Award nominated actor Tony Curtis, writer Sean Clark, cult film director David Schmoeller, actor Bill Fagerbakke and actor/director Clarence Gilyard Jr. Keith and Justin are currently producing a number of films including a feature involving urban legends and they begin work on a web series and TV show starting in 2012.
BIOGRAPHIES
Illinois native Keith Romine grew up in the small town of Belvidere Illinois where he played for the back to back state football champions the Belvidere Bucs. Keith is the co-owner of Fathead Films. Keith holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is an actor, producer, writer, teacher, and director. He has produced over 30 films and he has directed short films Title Unknown, The Stalker, The Promise, Good for Two Free Meals, What is Love, 99, New Moon, Till Death 2, Acceptance, and That’s My Girl. He has co-directed with Justin short films Ass Becomes a Man, The Bonus, Bad Teacher or Bad Student, and Release Me.

Illinois native Justin R. Romine is the co-owner of Fathead Films. Justin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He studies the art of storytelling through mediums such as: as an accomplished video journalist, filmmaker, freelance journalist, and published author of two books. His first book, A Bard’s Tale, is a book of poetry inspired by Ireland and her people (2004). His second book is a collection of stories entitled, Short Stories for People with Short Attention Spans (2006). He is currently working on his second collection of poetry The Road to Nowhere. Justin is an actor, writer, director, editor, cinematographer and producer. He has directed feature film Afraid of Sunrise and short films What They Say, Ghost Humpers, Down the Old Dirt Road, Dwelling, The Cafe, The Rawhide Stagecoach Robbery of 1908, Tape: the Musical, and the television travel show pilot Weekend on Wings. He has co-directed with Keith Ass Becomes a Man, The Bonus, Bad Teacher or Bad Student, and Release Me. Justin has also worked as a cinematographer for the films Fishing Amy, Dead Ends, and My Father’s Watch. January of 2012 Justin opened up a second company called Sweet Berry Wine Productions https://www.facebook.com/SweetBerryWineProductions in the hopes to separate grittier upcoming projects from those at Fathead, which is in pre-production for the children’s chiller Trapped.
