Male Role – Lead Role – Bob

Bob is an attractive man in his 20’s to mid 30’s.  Boyfriend to Mary, he enjoys teasing her, is very playful and is head over heels in love with her.  The actor must be available on Wednesday December 12 from 5pm – midnight. Male Role – Supporting Role – Jack

Female Role – Featured Extra – Dead Body

The role of the Dead Body will consist of you lying artfully on the ground with little to nothing on in a pool of blood.  The actress must be available on Wednesday December 12 from 5pm – midnight.  Most likely only needed for an hour during that time frame.  There is no monetary compensation for this role. The performer will be listed in the credits, provided a copy of the DVD of the finished film, and will receive imdb.com credit.

Actors that have one or both of these locations will most certainly be given a leg up in casting.

Bedroom – Rockford/Belvidere Area

Living Room or Basement with a couch – Rockford/Belvidere Area

**IMPORTANT** if you are interested in auditioning but cannot make either of these dates contact us immediately to discuss alternatives. We will be accepting video auditions with instructions to be sent out Wed Dec 14 and a submission deadline of Sun Dec 18. It is possible that we will hold additional auditions to fill specific needs not already met or for added roles but we WILL begin making casting decisions after this weekend and want to be sure EVERYONE interested in auditioning has had the opportunity to do so!

Casting call
We are currently casting for the short film Trapped due to be filmed early 2012. After casting is completed multiple weeknight and possibly some weekend table reads and rehearsals will be held through the end of December and January until principal photography begins, likely in February. Production will consist of multiple weeknight and weekend shoots through early 2012. We are looking for actors for the following roles.

Female role – Izzy
Female between the ages of 12 and 18. Izzy is best friends with two boys Josh and Will. She is a strong confident character, a bit of a rebel; the complete opposite of her popular cheerleader older sister who is obsessed with makeup, clothes, boys and school dances. Izzy has no interest in those things and would much rather hang out with her friends watching scary movies than go to a school dance. There is no monetary compensation for this role. Male role – Will
Male between the ages of 12 and 18. Will is best friends with Josh and Izzy. He is a good kid but his parents are never home and he is lonely. There is no monetary compensation for this role. Male role – Josh
Male between the ages of 12 and 18. Josh is best friends with Will and Izzy. He is a good kid but is smothered by his mother. She is over protective and is constantly nagging him. Female role – Claire
Female between the ages of 15 and 22. Claire is the older sister of Izzy. She is a snobby older sister, a popular cheerleader obsessed with perfect makeup, clothes, boys and school dances. Female role – Lilith
Female between the ages of 8 and 18. Lilith is a bit playful but strong and confident. She is a very nurturing and friendly person by nature. She is very protective of her brother Ash. Male role – Ash
Male or Female between the ages of 8 and 18. Ash is the brother or sister of Lilith (likely younger sister or brother). He is shy and kind of quiet but has a streak of independence to him. He looks up to and is constantly being protected by his sister. There is no monetary compensation for this role. Female role – Josh’s Mom

Making films gives me a voice and lets me show you a little part of me that you wouldn’t normally get to see. Whether you like it or not you get to see inside my soul. I have been thinking about this a lot lately and I have come to the conclusion that no matter how many times a person bares their soul it never gets any easier or more personal than that. I have been blessed in my life and I know that. I grew up in a home where I was supported and loved. I have an amazing supporting cast in my life and I wouldn’t be anywhere if it weren’t for them and because of them, I get to do what I have always dreamed of since I was a kid. Plus I get to work with some really amazing people.

I mean how many people do you know get to say that they got to direct Patrick Starfish or Sundown from Top Gun or got to learn screenwriting from two really amazing teachers: an academy award nominee for Mr. Holland’s opus and the other an amazing television writer? How many people get to say that they worked and learned from one of their all time favorite cult directors when they were growing up? I am going to go out on a limb and say not that many. The list goes on and on. I am grateful for every single moment that I get to do what I love. I will continue to do so as long as I am alive and kicking. I will never stop trying to express myself. It might not always be good but at least I am out there for the whole world to see. Okay I changed my mind I do care what everybody thinks. But it is my soul and my heart that is on display not yours. So if you are going to try and backdoor me at least use a little lubrication.
